Back on the Horse...

Or the bicycle! So to speak. I woke up this morning and did a spin class and put yesterday behind me. The problem with the spin class though is that no matter how fast you go or how long you go for, you don't really move forward. I did some healthy food shopping and listened to the metabolism boosting segment of the think & shrink program. Geez, that one is crazy. Everytime I listen to it, I feel like I'm all hopped up on espresso. I think it totally works. Though it's a little freaky. Gotta text from the ex. He's so weird. Everytime he sees me he needs to follow it up with a text message. I think he's a manipulative prick. He wants me to never get over him. Once again, I think it's time for me to start dating again. My goal for the weekend to put my profile on match or something and get at least one date. My kittens are going crazy chasing a fly. It's pretty cute.

Hi Lila...I responded to one of your blog posts back in early September, and said I was thinking about buying the Think & Shrink program. Well, I did it and have been listening to the long version when I go to bed at night for about a month. To be honest, I can't stand the "valley girl" inflection of the narrator; but fortunately, I usually fall asleep within about 2 minutes...and the program seems to be working for me! Based on the way my clothes are fitting, I've lost "some" weight, I'm guessing about 6-8 lbs. (I don't weigh myself cuz I've had some bulimia issues in the past and weighing myself has always been a trigger for those behaviors). The process has been very comfortable for me so far. I haven't had any refined sugar for 3 weeks; and I don't seem to have the cravings and urges to eat when I'm bored. Mentally I seem much more focused & calm & comfortable with myself.

I just want thank you very much for your interesting and fun blog. If I hadn't read it, I would never have tried the hypnosis program, which so far has been a very positive experience for me.

Hi Graciela, oh my gosh, I'm so happy that you are doing well too. I love the hypnosis because of that way that it sneaks up on you. I feel at peace with it as well. It's not that kind of drastic weight drop, like a diet or pills or anything, it's like coming to peace with your self and then consequently eating healthier. I hadn't noticed the valley girl accent on the narrator, that's hysterical now I'll definitely be listening for it!

Hi Lila
After your response I TRIED to listen to the metabolism boosting program but...I'm sorry...I couldn't stop laughing long enough to actually relax and listen. When she started talking about shrinking into a little teeny tiny person with a little teeny tiny wrench, in that valley girl accent...I almost fell off the couch.

Maybe if I listen to it a few times, I'll get used to it and be able to listen through the whole thing without snorting out loud . We'll see...that being said, I'm continuing to use the long program and doing well with it. ;-)

Hey, I'm so glad you left me a comment! Thanks for the support. You've reminded me that I have some hypnosis to listen to as well. I got them from hypnosis download dot com when I couldn't afford the local sessions. Anyway, I want to return the favor and support you in your search for a decent guy to date. Don't waste your money on Match or Yahoo or Chemistry...I've tried them all and I now use a free site exclusively (my expensive Chemistry account expires after this month). The free site is called OKCupid and it has quality guys on it, I was really surprised. Of course there are jerks everywhere, you just have to be careful. Hugs to you!
